Europe has more than 20M farms. According to European Commission Agricultural Outlook the total value of crop and animal production in Europe is expected to increase in 2020-2030 period in nominal terms, by 21% and 9% respectively. In the outlook period, the nominal total agricultural output is due to increase by 14%, reaching €440 billion in 2030.
Africa is the most profitable region in the world. Africa’s youthful population contributes to an abundance of labour, which is one of the region’s highest potentials for labor-intensive industrialization, and lowers production costs, leading to benefits that far outweigh the cost of doing business on the continent.
Africa has more than 40M farms. According to the “Africa Agriculture Status Report 2020” published by the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA), cropland expansion and improved access to inputs such as fertilizer and higher-yielding seeds helped gross production value increase by 11% between 2010 and 2016. Looking further ahead, the FAO and the OECD anticipate a further increase of 21% in agricultural and fish production between 2020 and 2029 in sub-Saharan Africa.
The need for modernization of farms in these regions is very high, and participation in our project will help to quickly promote sales in these markets.
